The Road

Copyright ©2002 Jorie West

We've walked this road for so long now, seem like it never ends

But we just keep on walkin', hopin', just around the bend

We'll find a place where we can rest, a place to call our own

Just like the one they sing about in that good old timey song

"We're marching to Zion, beautiful, beautiful Zion

We're marching upward to Zion that beautiful City of God"

Walk with me brother we can lean on each other

as we walk this heavy road, we'll leave behind our tears

Pressing on hand in hand to form a common band

As we walk in love, we'll overcome the sum of all our fears

Wi du yu (go) dv Sayani

Ogi na li go hi Ana yi li sv

U wo du hi Sayani

U ne la nv hi Ga du hv

(Modulate and repeat twice)

(In English: Toward Zion we march, beautiful Zion, God's City)
